About ΑΚΣ

ΑΚΣ fraternity was founded at Northeastern University, School of Engineering, on December 15, 1919.
At the time, the fraternity was known as  ΔΕΚ, the Democratic Engineering Club.
At a meeting on February 28, 1920 the name was changed to ΑΚΣ.

ΑΚΣ is a brotherhood based on kinship and respect. We are proud to wear the letters of the only frat that matters.
Our brotherhood means the world to us and we see the fraternity as the opportunity to expand
and educate ourselves, and to develop the kinds of friendships that last a lifetime.
